2SLGBTQIA+ customers are critically aware of where they spend their tourism dollars. They buy from businesses that demonstrate progressive policies and practices toward 2SLGBTQIA+ customers and employees.

A getaway to Kelowna has never looked so good.

As the third largest metropolitan area in BC, behind only Vancouver and Victoria, there are always activities and events happening in this vibrant and beautiful city. Regardless of the time of year, there are numerous 2SLGBTQIA+ activities happening, plus hiking, boating, skiing, farm to table dining, or touring the over 40 wineries are all just minutes away.

Explore downtown Kelowna’s cultural district to see colourful galleries, amazing concerts, and shows. Take a walk along the rainbow crosswalks at the hub of Kelowna just one block away from Bernard Avenue, which is a must visit area for the local shopping and food scene.

One of the best ways to experience the 2SLGBTQIA+ culture of Kelowna is to visit during our Pride week. Kelowna Pride welcomes over 12,000 attendees annually and is a fun and safe way to celebrate the diverse and accepting community of Kelowna.

While there are lots of things to do in Kelowna, we also recommend heading less than an hour south to visit our neighbour Penticton. Situated between two lakes, surrounded by vineyards and beaches, an undiscovered Penticton awaits to be explored.
